For the first time, voices from different backgrounds have been able to channel their energies to arrive at common solutions for the problems through events organized by six different platforms gathered under the umbrella of Journalists and Writers Foundation (JWF). The foundation has set its goal of existence as promoting the idea of coexistence among the masses rather than othering the “foreign”.

From this perspective, our mission is to look for the ways to build a common living space based on respect by bringing hundreds of intellectuals from different cultural, religious, ethnic and ideological backgrounds from fields such as science, religion, philosophy, politics, and art. The JWF aims to emphasize a common ground as well as opening various subjects to discussion from democracy to freedom of religion, to political and cultural pluralism to the problems of modern nation state models on every level through events it organizes.
